Highly recommended for people who enjoy soulbourne/sekiro like games.
This is probably the most soulslike game you can find out there that isn't made directly by FROMSOFTWARE, with huge obvious inspiration from Bloodborne, which is very welcome as a big fan.

The gameplay is very fluid and the systems that have been implemented into LOP are systems i wish would be incorporated into future soulsborne games. Weapons consist of two parts, a blade and a handle, which can be mixed and matched free of charge. This means that if you get a weapon that scales on Technique (dex), you can take the blade off of this weapon and put the blade on a handle that scales with Motivity (STR). So getting a new weapon isn't ever a bummer because it isn't aligned with your chosen build path.

On the topic of builds, this game is very liberal when it comes to changing your build. You will be able to more or less re-spec your levels and tools as you wish and as many times as you want at any point in the game (after you have unlocked it). So you are able to swap your build for any build with any weapon at any point. Which made it so much fun to play when struggling with bosses or enemies.

The story is also very interesting and actually is present unlike soulsborne games where it's mainly found by watching a VaatiVidya video or reading letters found on the ground.

Overall i'd give this game a solid 4.5/5

Great game for people who want a CO-OP experience either with friends or randoms or solos that crave a pretty hectic and fun experience. The game has some difficulty to it but not up in the ballpark of games such as Dark souls despite having a lot of similar gamemechanics and ideas such as checkpoints (bonfires) that refill your ammo and dragon hearts (Estus flasks) as well as shortcuts that only open from one side that you see early on in the level but can only reach when you loop around.

The weapons in the game are moddable with passives and/or actives that you can collect by defeating bosses alongside being rewarded with pre-modded weapons by the bosses that you can purchase in your hub-location, to upgrade these weapons you use materials like "iron" to get it to +5 and then "forged iron" to get it to +10 and etc, just like how they do it in dark souls. The neat thing is that everyone in the party share the stuff that each individual picks up so theres no competition or need to stress if you're in a random quickplay lobby.

Death doesnt penalize you nor your CO-OP partner and you have a pretty generous window where you can revive a knocked down ally, which is very nice. The maps and enemies are pretty well made with the only drawback being that since every area looks so similar it's easy to accidentally loop around and find yourself where you started without realizing it, alongside this the only other thing that bothered me is that the story wasn't as long as I'd hoped clocking in at around 12 hours.

So far i have beaten the game once and still have many weapons, bosses and armors i didn't even meet or collect despite doing all the hidding quests that i could find, which is the meat of this game, to reroll the world and have a different adventure with different loot and different bosses, similarly to games such as The binding of Isaac.

All and all i'd highly recommend this game for people who either want to have something good to actually play during this content drought that we are having or a game that you can enjoy with your friends. (and trust me it's really fun with friends)

Overall rating: 8,5/10

This game is one of the most fleshed out battle royales that has been released up until now. Everything from the movement and gunplay is stellar. Dont even get me started on the snowboard ITS AMAZING. This ♥♥♥♥ hopefully kills Fortnite and probably wont die anytime soon.

Also seems to be the perfect game for a certain streamer, he should hit me up
