Apparently I only crawl out of my review cave when I feel like people kiiiinda being morons in the review section.
(What's more surprising is that I don't have to do this MORE often.)

Congrats on the 1.0 release - it's been a long journey since those OG playtests, and I've enjoyed seeing the game flourish with both a dedicated viewpoint/developer vision but ALSO taking into account community feedback and suggestions. (The changes to vehicles, the changes from the early camera controls, etc.)
I'll echo (and frankly, just copy/paste) another reviewer that said "A highly customizable solo-friendly survival game with great atmosphere, meaningful tension, and a strong gameplay loop." There's a great variety of custom server settings as well - I'm going to enjoy tweaking things for that perfect gameplay feel.

I never bother to leave reviews, but I want to put in a positive word as others flood the page with negative reviews: in some cases, for a purchase made years ago. 🙄

Livonia: Is an interesting map - speaking as someone who plays heavily modded servers, it's been a great map for exploration and playing either pure PvE or RP-PvP - like DayZ Underground. I prefer it far far more than the base map, though I admit it's probably tied with Namalsk for me. If you don't own it yet, just sit tight- it will shortly be bundled in with the base game. [This is not an uncommon practice in the gaming world- MMOs bundle in previous expacs all the time, for example.]

So ignore the hysteria and, if you're new to it, enjoy the map while we all wait for Frostline!
