This is it! Slap on the Dave Mirra BMX soundtrack and ride to your hearts content. The challenges get pretty technical and it really helps shine a light on how much these devs love the sport. Thank you for making a fantastic BMX game! The only thing missing in my book is dirt jump trails. Please give us a trails update! I need it!

Early Access Review
After a few hours with the season 2 update, I think I'm finally comfortable recommending this.

Is it Skate 4? No.

Is it fun? Yes!

For a free to play game, it falls short in some places but this most recent update is a very good step in the right direction. There are still some core features that need to be added in, but I'm happy where it is and excited for where it is going.

I held off on posting any sort of review until I got out of the story intro and experienced the open world.

Now that I've spent a number of hours exploring, fishing, mining, and killing world bosses, I can rest a little easier suggesting this.

Like many fans of MMOs and anime, this games "predecessor" was on my radar forever. The fact of getting to play this at all is a big plus for me personally. I like the combat, the world design, boss fights, dungeons, etc. All the content after the story intro feels very familiar in a good way. I was looking for a big world to get lost in and despite its flaws, this game has succeeded in that area.

Compared to similar games, I like the combat more than Genshin, and the gacha mechanics are for such a small part of the game, I don't even care enough to interact with it.

If you have been interested in this game in the past, there is no reason to not give it a try. I'm happy to see it release in the west and I'll be enjoying my time with it between other games.

Early Access Review
I was honestly shocked to see so many negative reviews. I personally haven't run into any issues whatsoever.

- Exploration is satisfying and engaging.
- Combat is weighty and punishing.
- Sound and Art design are INCREDIBLE!

It seriously checks all the boxes for what I'm looking for in this type of game. This is the breath of fresh air the ARPG genre needed! Can't wait to see how the rest of the game shapes up, and being able to explore it with my friends.

It saddens me to write this but here we go. I've played a ton of PIPE and was looking forward to this title, given the updates we've been shown. Unfortunately, all the sneak peaks seem to shy away from the downright empty and unpolished open world awaiting players outside the starting area.

I'm glad I sprinted through the spillway to explore the rest of the map because oh boy, it's rough! It seems very deceiving to have a polished and well designed tutorial area that has about enough content to get you over the refund game time before showing you nothing else is that polished. I honestly can't believe this is being released at this price as a fully complete game. This is an early access title without the disclaimer and it hurts to say that. I was rooting for this game but the quality expected from the price tag just isn't there.

Having a blast so far! My main quest will be forever out of reach with how enjoyable exploration is. The best intentions get foiled by "I wonder what's over there!" every time.

As for microtransactions, they are inconsequential because you can earn those items in-game.

I haven't had many performance issues on my end, but I did build my machine to play Arma 3 so I might be more prepared for high CPU usage than others.

This is a more focused, smaller scale take on the Mudrunner franchise. More about preparation than previous releases. Though the game lacks mission variance and a large vehicle list, it shines in its environmental puzzles. These terrains are tough to get around and will take patience, planning, and a little luck to not roll off into a canyon. I've enjoyed my time in the game so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how coop functions in the coming months!

[1.0 RELEASE with ZERO MICROTRANSACTIONS]
The cash shop is gone and all of those items have been added to the loot table.

Full release is upon us! This is the moment Wayfinder fans have been waiting for and the perfect time for you to give the game a second chance. The developers have been working tirelessly to reforge the remnants of an MMO-lite into what has become my favorite ARPG of recent years. For $24, you get an insane amount of content and replayability, and better yet, its all playable in Co-op! There are now 3 massive zones to explore, a new hero, Lora, new weapons, armor sets, bosses, etc. Wayfinder is ready for you so all you have to ask is, are you ready to play a game that will equally respect your time and your wallet?

[ECHOES UPDATE]

It's so smooth. Co-op with friends is fun and engaging! We finally get to explore the world while actually finding things of value. The swap from micro-transaction hell (publisher decisions) to a loot system with armor and upgrades, and unlocking all but 1 available character within the first 2 hours of playing the update, this is a MASSIVE step in a wonderful direction.

I highly recommend supporting these devs and they regain control of a game they almost lost. Great job Airship! Excited to see how this new direction pans out.

[LAUNCH REVIEW]

After a rough start, I'm very impressed by the team at Airship Syndicate. I've played for 2 multi-hour sessions with no issues, and only having about a 10 minute queue, if that, both times. The game is fluid, gorgeous, and fresh so it checks all the boxes for me. If you were holding off because of the massive queues and server issues, those are now few and far between.

These devs are doing the right thing. They listened to the negative feedback and are cleaning up the messy launch. This many negative reviews mean people care about this project. Now is time to recognize they are stepping up and not ignoring the frustration. Kudos to the devs for starting to turn this one around.

Early Access Review
15 hours in and my group is blown away. Current playing with a full group on 6 on the Tortured Difficulty and absolutely loving it. This game has fantastic combat, world design, class abilities, and even more promise. I can't wait to see how far this game reaches once more people realize what a gem this is. Support devs like this! We need more games that check this many coop boxes!

Updated Review: Now 40 hours in.
Our group is now 40 hours in. After almost unlocked the entire map, we figured out that doing the "main quests" progresses your crafting recipes. On top of that, we have starting really honing in our builds and the boss fights are crazy. This game definitely isn't for everyone but if you have a tight knit group you play with, pick up this game and crank up the difficulty. It's been an insane amount of fun so far and we still haven't cleared all the content.
