[Weirdly have not encountered a single bug*** or performance issues]

I really wanted to like this game, went in completely blind (didn't even watch a trailer for the damn thing)

The level design is great
The atmosphere is spectacular
Story seems quite interesting (that i've experienced so far)

And yet it's all held back by how dog**** and uninteresting the combat AI is
-Insane range humans shooting through walls, seeing where you are past the point of absurdity
-absuable and also infuriating pathfinding (being chased by anything non-human? stand mildly above them on a car or something
-Unfortunately spongy enemies even at max diff (you can headshot humans and dogs, but if you're not doing that its quite spongy)
*** random enemy spawns are kinda broken atm (oh boy time to fight a pack of wild dogs every 3 minutes, or soldiers/bandits showing up out of thin air)
-Barely any loot table variety (oh boy 2 rounds of ammo and some bread)

This kind of combat would have been -okay- like 10 years ago but man is there just nothing special here. Maybe they'll fix it in 6 months or someone will mod it 4 years from now but as it is its just so dissapointing.

3h long, constant crashes, mid tier sound design. weapons were kinda meh. some of the boss fights were cool but like, also extremely easy (played on hard). The big ol orks were harder to fight then most of the bosses too. 5/10 Buy it for 5$

Versus mode is fun for all of 1 match, and everyone has to agree to not use rocket launchers to have fun.

A mild dissapointment. 6.5/10

-A few minor bugs here and there where you can soft lock yourself (falling into inescapable terrain)
-glitchiness with the AI at times (getting stuck in doors, sometimes their wind up animations dont activate and just kill you instantly; looking at you HANDS)
-the combat is just CLUNKY, mostly because of the 3D movement in a sidescroller and not exactly being able to guage the rotation and distance as easily)
-the flashlight. (I still have no idea how I got past that section, them controls are garbo)
-it was kinda easy to get caught on terrain in chase sequences, and the timing was quite tight.
-WAY TOO LIBERAL WITH THE SAVE SYSTEM, honestly it felt more like I was save scumming, and in doing so really killed ANY tension this game might have had.

+ Music was on point
+ Character designs were nice, albeit not as memorable (or grotesque) as the original
+ Platforming was solid
+ Story was okay, ending was kinda predictable
+The collectables were cool
+ The dynamic between the characters is cute

Little Nightmares 2 just couldn't improve on or surpass its predecessor .
You can beat it in about 5h, not really worth the 40$ CDN price tag, and definetly not worth the delux version.

Wait for it to be on sale.

What honestly should be a great game, ruined by lackluster sound design. everything just feels so underwhelming to use. What you see vs. what you hear can be so jarring.

6/10 will probably meme with friends again
