Sometimes I feel like I don’t know what I want. I only know what I don’t: I don’t want to feel alone, I don’t want to beg for care, I don’t want to have to teach someone how to see me.
I don’t want to get used to the absence.

Maybe what I want, deep down, is simple: to be valued. To feel that someone cares without me having to ask.

And still… part of me wishes someone would ask. That they would want to understand what I need.
But if they did ask, I probably wouldn’t know how to answer.
Maybe I’d just say: I want to be seen, to be cared for, to exist without having to deserve it. 🌸
