There's a lot to talk about with this one and I'm going to struggle to keep it cohesive but I'm going to try.

There's a lot i wish to see added and will likely be added into the ui and main menu elements of menu pathing and shortcuts that could be made for a faster loadout setup like just clicking on the ammo type to bring yourself to the crafting ammo screen instead of exiting out of the ready check in order to go to the workshop , then the workstation, then find the ammo, then craft it, then click escape twice to go to the main menu, then click the ready check again- basically turning 8 mouse clicks into 2. Genuinely ask yourself after playing "how many times did i have to get out of the ready loadout check in order to go craft shield regens or bandages or or or" its kinda silly to me that that's the case. There's also the fact that the skill tree doesnt tell you any statistics over the things you are spending points on and just keep it vague like "yup you are getting more stamina but I'm not going to tell you how much lmao." That also goes for a lot of things like shield capacities, hp values, enemy weak spot's. This games basically thriving off of youtuber's yelling at people what the weak spot's are on certain robots because the codex entries can not be bothered to actually tell me about the arc half the time, like the snitch entry is like 6 paragraphs long with weakspot/behavior/strategies/his address/his stock information: and then you have sentinels codex entry which just tells you "he exists =)." That last one in particular really baffles me because there are so many cutscene's in this game with lots of animation and spoken dialogue and this and that but no one could type up a lore/mechanic/gameplay summary of the robots THEY MADE.

More onto the in game stuff i find it hard to care in most lobbies unless theres some sort of goal in mind even simple ones like "kill people, loot specific place,do quest" but I got issues with each of these three main goals in each mission. Most importantly is that the loot is not A-exciting enough B-impacftul enough to the actual gameplay for me to care about it more often then not because i do not give a single ♥♥♥♥ about wether i have a "super mega advanced mechanical componet 1 in a million" or a "Battery found and forged in a dark star made to power whole planets" because it wasnt hard to find and no ones going to fight me for it specifically. That feels weird right? there's no insentive to loot bodies in a extraction shooter for their loot. No instead you loot bodies for their heals and shield's because the consumable rescources in match are the only thing that are worth giving a second look at. Dont forget that most everything will become craftable over time(nullifying the value of finding it in the game) and you have a chicken that feeds you all the basic rescources because the dev's dont trust the player to loot. I played a now dead game called "Marauders" at its peak and that game had me wondering if i should drop bandages for more scrap, this game makes me drop scrap for bandages which tells me its more shooter than looter.
So if its a shooter game how's the shooting? Its good, im not going to say its mid like other gamers who are spoiled af. There is a current "anvil/pistols" meta but lets be honest, there was always going to be a meta and being mad about it just makes you miserable. I found several guns i genuinely enjoy which for me personally is a bit of a big deal because I'm very guilty of using one and only one weapon for lengths of time but i comfortably swap between the kettle, ferrow, torrent, and my goat the burletta. I adore the reticle options. I enjoy the map design as well as the size of the maps to play in. This game is wonderfully optimized so that even on a 1660 graphics card I'm getting almost 100 fps constantly which is unheard of in 2025. The stamina system has good interaction to both enable and prohibit the player with lots of uses but also lots of applicable factors like weapon weight, weapon stowed, shield size, skill tree bonus, and more I'm sure. I think there are some dud consumable's but not useless because I'm biased against traps in such large map's that I dont think they are getting used enough to warrant so many kind's of traps clogging up my inventory. But one thing I dont like is the leveling up weapon system, I just think its not cool to have gun's with rarity's, attachment's, AND level's in a looter shooter making the fights very messy when it comes to knowing your opponent's loadout during split second decision making. All the buff's from leveling weapon's should just go into the attachment's making the attachment's better overall and more sought after.
When it come's to quests all i got to say is "run here, press E, extract, next quest" (youtube has been a godsend for some of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quests man because the locations are vague af sometimes.)

lastly please rework the green side of the skilltree it is so obviously worse then the other two its trully inspiring. Maybe consider making the perk's that revolve around being dead or near death into support perk's around using consumables on your allies (like using the heal spray longer). Or just using consumables better (thrown bombs do more damage to flying enemies) so that the red tree can signify getting items, and the green tree can be about using items. Just get rid of the hammer stuff entirely please.

Game is good but has no direction. I'm having a quality experience but i feel numb.

♥♥♥♥ you Shrimple, I made this entire list just to tell you that.

I have heard "We were different once" from the campaign starting cutscene for the broken lords so many times it is a vocal trigger for me thinking about this game. Genuinely adore the factions and their difference's in both function and aesthetic so much that i will likely remember all of them for a long time.

I wish we had more game's like this where multiplayer is vital to the game's experience and functions other than the "playing single player but together" notion I've felt in a lot of multiplayer title's. What i mean is that the ship you use does not move without the people on board doing their job's and they are designed to be interactive with either the ship, enemies, or each other instead of the other simple games where it feels the only interactable thing between the people playing is the revive dead player function. Game progression is based on team progression not just damage check or one person doing the puzzles or whatever.

for a horror game i found myself constantly pleasantly surprised at most turns and even after 4 different endings all of them left me happy. i tried getting funny with the story by avoiding it but that lead me down the most interesting path i had in the game. Play it twice at least to get the interesting paths, they are worth it.

thinking of this game is nostolgia or however you spell it, i played it years ago but i always remembered certain parts of it just ingrained inside my mind. seriously i remember the screen with the giant robots head you go in, the weird town and dear god do i remember the funniest moment that ive constantly made refferences to with my friends. this is a good game, bad man i remember the endings being bleak except one which is to be expected with multiple endings. in all good game i give it my kids choice award for goodest game award

i love this game, the games are short and overall its all really fun to play even when you play for free like i do.I really appreciate that as a player nowadays. 1 problem i am having on the other hand is that when i party up with my friends i usually get stuck in the loading screen and then it tells me i lost connection to the server, but its only when i party up with friends and my internet is pretty good i like to think so there is something to fix but other then that i fully recomend this game to all my friends a already forced 4 of them to try it and they all would agree with me to that this is a great game!
