Single player story is very hard for beginners, and the Battle Mode setting for the AI seem incredibly difficult- the AI always draws the perfect card at that given moment for that situation. Once, I was seriously mana-hosed (something that happens regularly in this game, but not that often when I play the tabletop version), and the AI just kept drawing mana every turn, even late-game! It seems unbalanced. Which is a shame, as it has a lot of potential as an infection vector for new Magic Players, and the tutorials are thorough and informative, so even a new Magic player can pick up the basics quickly.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend this game. It's great to use as a learning point and stepping stone onto the actual tabletop game, but that is all you should expect.
