Warioware! With Aether characters!

It's not very long, I beat it in under an hour but like Warioware beating the story isn't really the point. It's a lot of fun and (currently) free, play it!

It's hard to put into words how good this game is. People compare it to Megaman and while not incorrect I feel like that gives a lot of people who are unaware the wrong idea. This game is more akin to Megaman Zero, which is fundamentally similar but the gameplay loop is very different to what some might expect.

The focus is on speed and close range combat. By default your only "long range" tool is grappling hook that functions not only as a movement option but lets you grab and pull enemies to use as projectiles. Extremely fast paced and fluid movement and customizable supers with satisfying impact mean the only limitation on how fast and efficiently you tear through stages and bosses is your own fingers.

Also you can piledrive enemies, why would you not wanna do that????

The most terrifying game I've ever played, 10/10.

I feel like this game is massively underappreciated. I used to be really good at SHMUPs, played them all the time, and this game kicks my ASS. It's been years so I'm obviously not as good as I used to be, but part of the beauty of this game is that it never FEELS unfair. Every death and mistake feels like your own fault, which isn't always the case in this genre.

If you love SHMUPs, I guarantee you will love this game, it is absolutely worth a purchase.

Also the soundtrack is incredible.
