Early Access Review
The "Quest mode" update added many interesting and unique modifiers to individual runs.
From fighting every king all at once to only fighting the rare rainbow faction.

Game was solid before but this update really added varity to the point i hope in the future we get custom campaigns or user generated challenges.

TLDR: Give it like 4-6 months to see if issues get ironed out mostly. Or just 30-50% discount

Game itself is more or less 8/10 coop game. Enjoyed it a bit but ended up more annoyed than i enjoyed.
The bugs (non enemy ones) have slowly been adding straws to the camel's back, constant crashing each update and things like stims giving activation sound but not actually triggering and not being able to control the hellpod even after the *fix* to name the two really annoying ones i encountered often.

The whole PSN situation is honestly kinda weird, I remember it stating you needed a PSN account on the store page but if the game has been out for 3 odd months and *worked* then is it really necessary to mandate it when you could offer it as an optional feature like Warframe or other games?

Remnant: From the Ashes combines a Souls-lite mechanics with the addition of firearms. Unlike traditional Dark Souls, dying in remnant only costs you the time it took to re do the zone you died in, for some people this might be a + or a -.

In Remnant the level up mechanics require you to first acquire the *traits* to put points into and each level up is a fixed amount of exp.

Can't really comment on the coop experience as I've yet to really try it, but otherwise i can safely say that I've enjoyed
my time in Remnant From the Ashes.

A game i first purchased on a whim so many years ago.
I find myself playing it a few times per year when i get that Rogue-like itch.

MH:W is a good entry point to the series. Some mechanics are more streamlined and simple.
you no longer have to "paint" monsters, you now build a tracking meter. Crafting can now be automated for when you collect items too.

Some old-school players might not like everything about it, but new players have plenty to look forward to.

A fun little romp in the same vein as Harvest Moon.
