Absolutely amazing game. No micro-transactions, no pay-to-win, amazing art style and most importantly.. its addicting.

I have over 2700 hours on this game currently (PC and Xbox combined) and this is my opinion about the game. Just something to keep in mind when reading this is that I love Destiny 2 a lot and would never walk away from this game unless if it went off the deep-end and had no return.

Honestly, where do I start with this game. This game has had plenty of ups and downs, even right now it is experiencing it. For the past year, the community has experienced a lack in content after Bungie split from Activision. Bungie has taken control of the game now as a developer and publisher, and honestly it could have ended up worst but they have been outputting content but not enough in my opinion. I can understand from Bungie's stand-point that since they don't have the same workforce like when they were partnered with Activision but they are doing what they want with the story and with the game itself. Bungie is trying to convert the game into the beloved MMORPG they have planned into making. It is really showing some light and I personally am excited for it but not holding my breath on it.

I personally don't agree with the Seasonal Pass system they have in place right now, it feels as though it takes away from development in the game and rather handing items, materials, weapons and armor out for free when they could be implemented into the gameplay for players to earn and feel rewarded. Some other things I don't enjoy about the game is the fact that content is currently split into four seasons in one year. Content is limited within those seasons and you have to be there the play it and if you miss out on that season, then you are at lost of not acquiring gear that your friends have, so you feel left out in the end. Content in the game has been running pretty dry lately but that doesn't mean that the next year of content cant change. I feel like mostly it is because Bungie doesn't have the same man-power as they used to but also what doesn't help is that the community does expect too much from them. It does take time to develop or redevelop aspects into the game and since Bungie is trying their best this is what we are getting for now. I agree/disagree with the game going "Free To Play" only because yes there will be more players but there will be a lot more smurfs in PvP and for all the people getting banned due to cheats in PvP will just be able to make a new account easily and that is never a fun thing to experience. There is currently no in-game LFG (Looking For Group) system so you have to resort to using third-party websites or discord servers to do your LFG's for raids and other activities.

Now onto the things that I enjoy or agree about. I personally love this game so much even when it has its little mishaps. The texture quality of this game is gorgeous. There are plenty of places that you will visit and just stop in place to take it all in. The performance of this game could be a bit better but it will soon be getting better with the release of Beyond Light. They are adding in a lot more customization on top of a lot of what we already have. The guns in this game are unique in there own way but not all are like that. This game is a grind for most things and I like that. The community is friendly and helpful in so many ways, there is no place you can go without having someone willing to help you from LFG's. The story for the game isn't the best for the first three DLC's but Forsaken and Shadowkeep are amazing. There is a LOT, I mean a LOT of lore in this game that would keep you busy reading for plenty of days, weeks, and months. The cosmetics in this game can either be earned through Bright Dust (in-game currency) or buying Silver (bought with IRL money) in the cosmetic store. It is a great balance for players that just want to buy it outright or earn it as a reward for their hard work. There is plenty of things to do in this game if you are fairly new to the content. The destinations have plenty of secrets and its all open world from place to place. Bungie has plenty of old traditional and new events that are in the game throughout the year to play and earn exclusive content that you cant get anywhere else in the game. One big things that some other games don't do, Bungie doesn't ban or suspend players for exploiting glitches or cheesing things in the game because they realized its banning or suspending players for bugs in the game isnt going to fix things and they admit on their own part that it is their fault for letting it into the game.

To conclude, this game has plenty of things that you may find undeniably worse than others. The game is plenty of fun with friends and even sometimes by yourself. The game's bugs can get out of hand at times but it is enough to deal with. There is plenty of grinding for loot in the game to keep you busy for a long time. The cosmetics in the game are unique and interesting in their own way that allows players to decide how they want to earn them. The PvP in this game needs plenty of help in my opinion, others may find it fun but personally I dont. The lore in this game is MASSIVE and there is so much to read and learn at it helps with the immersive part of Destiny 2 and keeps you drawn in for what comes next. Wishing that there was an LFG system in the game but with what we have now is doable. The game is converting into an MMORPG that is interesting in its own way but also with increased customization and flexibility to how you want your character built. To the fact that there is so much to go over, I recommend this game on plenty of points that I have made.

Thank you for taking the time to read this long as f*** TED Talk.

At this current time, I will not continue to play this game anymore. First of all, the fact that this game was sold out to Epic Games was by far the worst decision Psyonix has ever made with this game. Second, I was unable to use my controller in-game from the moment it started up. I troubleshooted in so many ways possible that nothing was able to work. Literally took away my ability to play the game to begin with. Third, signing in with an Epic Games account gave them permission to use my entire friends list, force others to create an account in order to play the game and not only that, the servers will more likely be downgraded and laggy. Fourth, this game has now been put out as "Free To Play" which confirm the amount of smurfs that we will have to deal with and I personally dont want to be playing games against people that are well above my skill level. It takes away from the fun in the game.

I am not willing to play this game anymore because this game was going downhill just a little and I could deal with it but now it went off the deep end and has started to drown itself. The community loved this game but everyone that has played this game enough to know how good it was, now have no ambition to play this game including myself.

Epic Games, you have a special place in hell for the stuff you do and this is me leaving it here lightly away from the colorful words I would love to describe your company as. I would recommend everyone new or even current players to just let this game die out as for Epic Games has confirmed its death sentence.
