Fun game, definitely would not have played it as much if I did not have friends to play it with.

tldr: Game is fantastic fun but with the amount of bugs/glitches/cheaters etc it is too difficult to play right now. Once the game is more fleshed out and developed I will almost certainly change this to a positive review, but I recommend waiting until then to buy it. As is I would not suggest trying the game until it is more finished.

Long version: New World is a fantastic and enjoyable game and I have spent many hours in this beautiful and intricate world. Unfortunately there are just a bit too many problems, many of which have developed after playing for quite a few hours, for me to give this game a positive rec. Despite having over 300 hours invested at the time of reviewing I still would not recommend this game to someone to play. Despite all the issues the game has, not the least of which being a dramatic amount of players that enjoy exploiting and straight up cheating, the game itself is still immensely fun... until you realize just how MANY issues are plaguing the game. Out of a group of five or so friends I certainly had the most amount of glitches negatively affecting my gameplay but even still the friend with the least glitches still had to deal with game-breaking bugs almost hourly when playing. Another issue worth mentioning is the grind in the game, for the most part it is not too bad and even really well handled in some regards but some of the really late game grinding is so tedious and mind numbingly boring that it feels like it is just there to artificially inflate gameplay.

Now for the positives - the combat is super fun and it does not feel repetitive or boring and it is fun to try multiple different weapons and playing styles. Art is beautiful and so so amazingly well done. Playing with friends is super fun and even when you are trying to catch up to more committed friends or waiting for less committed friends to catch up to you, there is still plenty of fun you can have with the cooperative aspect. The early game is a lot of fun and is very well done, easily the most finished part of the game and most fleshed out. The grind in the game can be a bit bad too some degree but a large majority of it is actually really well done and enjoyable. The storytelling within the world is neat and decently well done. Content updates do seem to be pushed through fast enough which gives me massive amounts of hope for the game in the future.

Overall I would say if $40 is not a big deal to you then the game would be worth it but otherwise as it stands there is too many negatives to make it worthwhile at the present moment.

Halo is Halo, simple as that. The series has been solid for a long time and since it is available on pc it is more accessible than when it was an exclusive.

Fun game to play solo or with friends. Astroneer has come a long way since I first got it in early access and in my opinion it is definitely worth the price.

Love the game, I'm not the best at these games normally and it is difficult but it's extremely rewarding when you beat that annoying boss you've been struggling on for so long. This game has so much to love about it, from it's beautiful art design to it's well-made boss fights.

Dark Souls was a game that I originally never liked, I played it when it was new and got bored of the game pretty fast. Recently my friends bought this game and said that I should play with them so I figured "why not?" and I gave it another chance. That was probably the best decision I had ever made, I realized I didn't enjoy when I had to figure it all out on my own (and I realize some people do but I'm not like that) but when I was playing with friends it was so much more fun. In fact, I enjoyed playing it with friends so much that I decided to continue playing on my own and made a new character and played through the entire game on my own because I had so much fun with it playing with friends. I do intend to keep playing this game even though I've seen much of it already because it's a game that has managed to hook me (even if it didn't the first time) and now I'm in love.

TL;DR - Give it a chance and if you have friends that also have it or want to try it play with them, the game is well worth giving a try.

With the stunt that was pulled regarding the modding of this game there is no way I can recommend this game in good conscience. Fun game, if only Take-Two didn't mess everything up royally.

Not really much to say about this game except if you haven't played it yet you should.
