Brilliant level design, unique and creative mechanics, tons of secrets to discover, surprisingly deep story, and lots of ways to progress! You can do full stealth, or fight aggressively. Both styles are fun. I usually do a mix of both. This game is amazing and I hope more people find it.

I barely ever do reviews, but this game deserves so much praise. I hope the dev goes on to create more unique gaming experiences! Thank you for making this game.

VR Mod for Garry's mod is amazing, but this is a much more streamlined and overall better way to play Half-Life 2 in VR.

The reloading mechanics make firefights much more dangerous. Be sure to take cover!

I won't go to Ravenholm anymore.

Fun game so far, big Dark Souls. Turn down grass for fps gains.

Runs fine on a laptop with rtx2070, i7 10th gen, 16gb ram. Only posting this to counter all the reviews saying it runs poorly.

There are a few areas that drop to 50 when looking in certain directions.
There is also a "fix" on PCgamingWiki for Nvidia GPUs.

Nvidia control panel > global settings > Shader Cache size = Unlimited

Noita: Prepare to Die. It's brutally unforgiving, more than Dark souls, but fun enough to keep pulling me back. I play this for an hour or 2 most game nights, and I love it. Can't wait to play on the Steam Deck!

50 hours and I've still not seen the boss. And there's still more action beyond that! Lots of secrets, tons of amazing mods, and fun wand experimentation! There are mods for nearly anything. If you really want to save scum, there's a mod for that !

If you get tired of the first few levels, play the Daily Practice Runs. It drops you a few levels down and sometimes gives you fun wand/perk combos!

I see this as a souls-like, in a way. I'm learning from each try. Learn what each enemy does, what materials are most dangerous, etc. Slow and steady wins the race.

Arkane really hit it out of the park with this one. Dishonored series was great, but I like this even better. There are horror bits. Exploration is often rewarded. There are many ways to solve problems. Every item seems to be placed with intent. There are stories to be discovered in every room.

On a 2nd playthrough (almost) 4 years after the first, it's still very fun. NG+ lets you bring your previous abilities.

Early Access Review
There is some good fun to be had. Zombies mode is great. Gmod might still be the best for most TTT and prison break game modes, but this has potential. VR versions can be really fun. Just jump between servers until you find one with people playing by the rules.

Fascinating and oppressive world. Sometimes there are no happy endings.

I just defeated the second boss (went East first, North second) and I must say I am very impressed with this game! I've been playing with a steam controller and it has been a wonderful experience. I've not played a top-down game this challenging for a very long time!

I'm loving this game so much! I simply cannot believe how much great it is to dash into a group of enemies and blast them with a gun then use the sword to sweep up the rest. I haven't felt this kind of acomplishment with a game since Dark Souls.

If you don't enjoy dying in games, or exploring without really knowing where to go, you will probably get frustrated at some point. There is a map with points showing you where you need to go, but it is not as exact as a metroid game.
This game relies on you to learn from your mistakes and get the timing down. I've probably died well over 100 times already but I don't mind at all! Its been fun trying to master this game!

Also, I feel I should mention it only runs at 30 fps. But it is worth a try atleast! I don't mind the 30 fps and the Dev has mentioned why it is locked at 30, but I know a couple people have been complaining about headaches. I've never gotten headaches from any game except when I play Stereoscopic 3d for too long.
