Update: Surround sound has been fixed and FPS seems better. The game looks great, I am satisfied with GTA V Expanded & Enhanced (& updated).

---------------------------

Original review: Rockstar did not work very hard on this update, they just ported it straight from console it seems.

I have a 3070, it's not a top tier GPU but it barely runs at 60fps with DLSS on performance, yes I have RTGI, RT Shadows and RT reflections turned on but it should run at least as good as the AMD APU in the consoles, needs more optimization it seems, the game looks good but not that much different from the original that came out 12 years ago. Also Fast Sync does not work anymore in this version, so I get tearing but that is because I don't want to play with vsync on and my monitor is not g-sync compatible I guess.

5.1 surround sound does not work on my setup, it seems to be a common issue with Expanded & Enhanced. Lots of people are having audio issues even in Stereo. For me it always worked before in GTA V and even RDR2 had no issues, now I am forced to play in stereo...

also had a weird crash on the mission Marriage Counselling where Michael and Franklin pull down the house it freezes, I had to skip that cutscene to progress in the story mode

Online is buggy, my car did not migrate for some reason and it's very laggy when there are many players in the lobby probably because of battle eye but at least there are not as many cheaters as before (yet)

Overall I would not recommend, just play the Legacy version if you still have the choice
