the core gameplay is really fun. finding spots and creating lines feels great with smooth controls however it doesn't look like what skateboarding really is. the grit the previous games had is completely removed, every surface is clean and makes the world look bleak. there is no soul, just fortnite graphics. i would change this review to a thumbs up if they changed at least the graphics and art style to what was shown in a teaser trailer from 3 years ago (it was much more realistic looking). i mean, even lego city undercover has better looking roads and streets. i'm not kidding either, go look it up. if you want a realistic looking skate game, go play session or lego city undercover.
