I'm more partial to Pen Island, personally, but this is still fine.

It's definitely rough around the edges, with some pretty obnoxious glitches popping up at times, as well as very inconsistent and occasionally painfully loud sound mixing, but all in all, it's certainly the most "unique" horror game I've played in a long time.

A good story and characters don't make up for bland, repetitive, hit & miss gameplay.

I managed to experience more glitches, crashes and game breaking bugs in the first 30 minutes than I have in 100+ hours in Skyrim.

Astonishing.

It puts just about everything Telltale has produced in the past four or so years to absolute shame. Heck, it even gives some of their best games a run for their money.

Yet another "psychological horror" game that consists of nothing but a nonstop barrage of loud, cheap jump scares. What's astonishing to me is that the developers were clearly VERY influenced by Silent Hill, and yet somehow completely failed to recognize what made that game so fundamentally scary. Wasted potential. That's all I can really say.

A constant barrage of loud jump scares and torture porn. If this is what passes for "horror" nowadays, then I weep for the genre.

Currently as good as unplayable with mouse and keyboard due to certain key inputs not being mapped correctly and a nasty bug that causes all input to not be registered at all. Incredibly disappointing, given how polished the ports of the first two games were.

Amateurishly written, hamfisted melodrama.

Frame pacing issues, horrendous texture pop in, audio hiccups, awful mouse sensitivity, laughable FOV options, bugs and glitches where there were none in the original, etc, etc...

...But hey, at least the textures look nicer!
