I never write reviews for games. LISA, the Painful RPG is an exceptional experience. Easily one of the best games I've played in the last 5 years. AND it was made in RPGMaker, of all things.

I'm a veteran of RPG games, having played them since I've been a young kid. But this game is one of the first to put me in hysterics and give me the blues at the SAME time, no less.

Murder, rape, child abuse and neglect, pedophilia, and utter betrayal - this game pulls no punches. There is no "green, blue, red" endings or options. There are no happy endings, as there often are in life. You need to be a ♥♥♥♥ in order to survive this game.

No this review wouldn't be valid if I didn't provide at least a modicum of contructive criticism. Will you save scum throughout this game? - YES. Does it lag like a mother on one or two stages? - YES. Does that mean it isn't worth it? -Absolutely not.

I retroactively go back and give it my 2014 Game of the Year. I can't wait for the sequel and for our questions to be answered.

Choice of the Deathless appears humble, but was one of the most solid gaming experiences I've had in a while. It's a catchall of horror, fantasy, romance, and comedy. I'd recommended this to anyone.
