Almost 3 hours in and I'm hooked. The black and white is charming and not at all hard to get used to in this day and age. It's not an overly complex game but has loads of charm and the Noir aspect really is great. Having a blast this one is def worth the buy. The game runs well, Ultra settings DLAA getting around 430 FPS. Mind you this is with a 5080 and a 500Hz OLED monitor but would assume optimization is there as there are zero frame pacing issues.

Great for just sitting down and playing a relaxing game. Can't wait for future updates!

Never have played an extraction shooter before Arc Raiders, Was rough the first few times but once you get the hang of it there's even more to learn. I love it, there is a depth to this game that I didn't know I needed in my life. Don't think about it just buy.

A game that has you going from Growing weed to cooking down coca leaves to make cocaine. The game play loop is hyper addictive. Can't wait to see what else gets added. Don't think about this one just buy it and play.

Great game play and decent graphics for a 2018 game. Wish they would have allowed more then 120FPS in the menus but hey I guess it's better than 60FPS locked.

Great for benchmarks

Game runs great on my hardware(5700x3d/7800xt) @1440p native. Combat mechanics are amazing, This is what we have been missing for the last 5+ years, devs who create great games.

Just no. This game was hyped beyond belief and while the mechanics of the game and the exploration are good. Everything else is pretty sub par for a game that is $69.99. When will they stop releasing games that are incomplete and unoptimized? let me clue you in, THEY WON'T, because we keep buying and defending game like this. I have a PC that is FAR beyond the recommended specs and it runs like hot dog water. I even went so far as to buy a months sub to GeForceNOW to try it there to see if maybe I had some issue, still runs like crap.
Don't be like me and get stuck with this games performance issues and unable to refund, either wait until it's "Fixed" or just plain don't support greedy companies like Capcom.

Worth buying. Crafting system, skills and classes are well thought out and very in depth. Endgame is engaging and fun. This is the Arpg that I've been waiting for.

I have changed my positive review to Do Not recommend for the following reasons:

1. We are almost 1 month post 1.0 launch and there are still persistent FPS issues with multiple builds, I have tried most everything listed on Official Forums and elsewhere. This included a fresh windows/DDU and GPU driver install. Having a 7900XTX I shouldn't be going sub 20 fps at 1080p(low to highest settings, doesn't matter) in scenes while playing with a party of 3-4 people. The solo experience is better but still frame dips into the sub 40 fps.

2. Merchant's Guild- Using the marketplace is not a consistent experience, it goes down in the mornings and randomly during the day. The entire point of this is to be able to sell items on demand, that isn't always possible.

To sum all this up, this game shouldn't have been released in this state, There have been a lot of bug fixes and balance talks but ZERO talking about fixing optimization for the actual game. At some point the excuse of a "Smaller Dev Team" only goes so far, they released a product and we all paid money for it and features are not working consistently and game itself is buggy and partially unoptimized.


Update: @ 227 hours, I have played more and with some major changes I think they're headed in the right direction.

This is an amazing game. I'm having a hard time coming up with something to say that hasn't been said a million times in other reviews. The combat is Very polished. The sheer amount of cut scenes in this game are incredible, the voice acting is definitely master class. If you're on the fence about buying, don't think about it and just buy it, even folks not accustomed to Crpgs will enjoy this game. 10/10
