I have been waiting for the Steam release for a long, looong time!

TERA has for sure the best action combat mechanic I have ever experienced so far on MMORPGs. It's pretty solid and even with high latencies (of over 180, for example) you can still experience a good gameplay against NPCs ant other players, unlike other current competitors. The combat is pretty similar to Monster Hunter's, but faster and more frenetic. Learn enemy attack patterns and properly position yourself in the battlefield are extremely necessary on end game PvE and PvP contents.

One of the few cons I have about this game is the early game, which is kinda repetitive (kill x number of monsters and so on). Most of its story is telled by texts, If the developers had properly invested on it and dubbed NPC voices it would make it waaay more attractive to players. And the game's lore is good, just need to be told in the right way.

Talking about F2P, I have been playing this game for 2 years and I can assure you that is not Pay to Win. Most of the cash shop items are just cosmetics and you can even buy them from other players on trade broker. In-game currency is kinda easy to accumulate, so no worries about losing your social life to get that so desired weapon skin.

If you are looking for an action fantasy MMORPG, that is fun on both PvE and PvP, give TERA a shot! And don't give up early, the game reeaally shines on end game content!

A great experience for sure! If you're a RPG fan and you're looking for an epic story, great characters, lore and kick some alien asses, don't think twice and buy it! This game is easily one of the best of it's generation and it's experience is even better if you played the first one of the franchise.
