Hands-down the best game ever made, and it's only halfway complete. No game I have ever played has left an impact on me like this except perhaps Undertale, fittingly enough.

I'm thinking about it all the time now. Its world, its characters, its narrative, its themes, and what those themes mean in the context of the fictional game, and to the real world player. There is just a mind-blowingly huge amount of stuff to unpack here. I'd love to write a lot more than this about my feelings towards Deltarune but I wanna keep this short, so the last thing I'll say is that this is without a doubt the most masterful use of the medium of video games to express thought provoking ideas and art. In a world of games-as-dopamine-dispensers, Deltarune is a profoundly unique and moving experience, and simply must be played by anyone who values games as an art form and who is prepared to meet it on its terms sincerely.
