Amerzone is incredibly beautiful, the story is interesting, and the puzzles are engaging. Some of the puzzles were pretty tough but I never got stuck for long enough for it to become frustrating. (And even then, the built-in hint system probably would have saved me.) For fans of the genre this is my number one recommendation!

On my first drive after the intro I ended up in an area with no exit and no way to create an exit, so the only way to continue playing was to die and lose the progress I had made in that area. Unfortunately since the game hadn't given me that information at this point, I had to spend half an hour on the internet to learn enough about the game mechanics to even realize death was my only way out. A very frustrating first impression.

Heavy motion blur can only be disabled by turning post-processing down to minimum. Movement feels like on ice. (Character needs 1-2 seconds to accelerate/decelerate after pressing/releasing direction keys.) This game looked like a perfect fit for me, but unfortunately these avoidable issues make it nearly unplayable for me.

I'm not crying, my eyes are just still wet from splashing around with the mermaid. Grim but beautiful story, pretty artwork, and very fitting music and sound design. A+, would let myself get hurt again.

Lost half an hour of character creation because my internet disconnected for a few seconds. Always-online single-player games shouldn't be a thing.

Beautiful artwork and beautifully written. Especially the dialogue felt very natural and made it easy to really care about the characters and feel their struggles.

Mostly linear, but some decisions influence the ending. Takes around 1-2 hours to complete.

If you're into rhythm games and like this kind of music, Muse Dash is truly amazing! The base game alone is an absolute bargain and allows unlocking all power-ups and cosmetics through gameplay. The DLC adds tons of great new songs that are well worth it.

Basically the gaming equivalent of strolling through a beautiful park with a puzzle book while listening to existential poetry. Absolutely wonderful!

Great co-op shooter! While it's clearly made for co-op it's still very fun in single-player.

I really hope this gets made into the full game it deserves to be one day. Right now it is just a (very good) intro chapter.
