I mean as n --> infinity adding a +1 does nothing so showing the difference between 2 terms goes to 0 is kind of just essentially saying that the limit of your sequence exists. Off the top of my head I don't know the proof for convergence and what the limit is, but I do know, because I've seen this before, that the limit is that fixed point around y=x=.7ish.

Also a fixed point is something from topology and Analysis. It's when a function's input is the same as the output. There are a whole slew of Fixed Point Theorems.

For example, Cos(x) has a fixed point when it intersects the line y = x, which we know occurs due to the continuity of Cos(x) at a little above .7 iirc (the actual number, I think is irrational). You can prove that using fixed point theorems or studying metric spaces, or just graph the function, lol.
