Ignore the whining review bombers, the game is great and the weapon balancing is fine. The Sony region-lock thing was ♥♥♥♥, but since then it's clear the developers are working hard to improve the game while continuing to release new content. To further your enjoyment, stay way from the Reddit r/helldivers2 sub and Discord servers and enjoy a Toxic free experience.

If you're the kind of person that thinks a game should have a single, "meta" loadout, then this game isn't for you.

What a thoroughly enjoyable game! While I have no interest in playing any multiplayer, I really enjoyed the campaign and would recommend it anyone that has enjoyed the earlier Homeworld games.

A surprisingly enjoyable single player campaign with some really cool set pieces and game mechanics. I've heard people say "the storyline is amazing", which it really isn't, but it IS a lot of fun to play through.

I loved Civ V, absolutely brilliant game and my first encounter with the franchise. If you can get your head around Civ VI not being the same game, I think you'll appreciate the differences between the two. I just wish there was some ability to successfully play tall instead of wide.

Such a great game, the improvements to the levelling system are fantastic, and the 5 minute match times make this easy to jump in and just play a couple of rounds. When I don't know what else to play, I come back to Rocket League every time.

It's a great game until you get disconnected and lose all progress. In the end, frustration kills this game.

19/01/2016: Whatever connectivity issues were plaguing this game previously seem to have cleared up, resulting in a very fun co-op game that I would once again recommend!
