A true hidden gem that deserves so much more recognition. I haven't seen such hauntingly alien landscapes and settings since Morrowind, the visual desing in this game is excellent with every location being memorable and every character becoming quickly recognizable at a glance. The combat is fresh, easy to learn but difficult to master and very satisfying which is amazing when you consider this is a first person fighting game! Even the plot feels like something vibrant and different, while fairly simple and some what predictable, you are presented with a rich and detailed world that oozes life and history but never feels the need to bog things down explaining itself.

The closest thing I can think of to bring up as criticism is that the sound design is very lacking, the music is so forgettable that it may as well not be there and the voice actors seem strictly amateur. It's also very short, there is some replay value with multiple endings and a challenge mode but it's still only a few afternoons worth of play. These are however very minor flaws in an otherwise beautiful game.

At the price this goes for during sales you owe it to yourself to experience this.
