Noch lässt sich nicht allzu viel sagen, da das bislang Spielbare im Early Access recht kurz ausfällt. Aber der Spielansatz ist schon mal gelungen. Ich denke, mit entsprechenden Crafting-Möglichkeiten, eventuellen Zielen, einer Story und mehr Umfang sollte das ein interessantes Spiel werden. :)

Edit: Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das nun mit v0.1.1 kam oder beim letzten mal nur mein Inventar voll war und ich deshalb nicht craften konnte, aber mit der Craft-Funktion hat man bereits deutlich mehr zu tun. Auch die Fähigkeiten wie bspw. der Teleport sind cool gemacht ;)

I just 100%ed the game (all achievements and challenges including DLC content) and in my opinion it's one of the best skateboarding games out there.

As the name suggests it's a simulator game,
so if you expect arcade gameplay like in THPS, then this game is not for you...
If you like a more realistic approach - especially if you skate or used to skate in real life - then go for it.

I played a ton of skateboarding games. I was pretty good at all the THPS games - especially THPS3 online multiplayer, platinumed all the 'Skate' series games on ps3 and played a bunch of skateboarding games on handhelds and the smartphone.

None of these games really compare with Session. If it comes to controls, the 'Skate' series is probably the closest one, but Session takes it to a whole other level when it comes to realism.
At first there is a steep learning curve and people might already give up before the game really started, but if you learned the controls it's a ton of fun.
It's basically the 'Dark Souls' of skateboarding games.

I played in hardcore mode and it's really fulfilling to land tricks with 'manual catch' enabled - comes close to skating in real life.

Unfortunately there are still annoying bugs like getting stuck in the ground or turning around while using Session markers (saved places you can jump back to) and some tricks and lines don't register well during challenges.

But, all in all the good outweighs the bad by far and I can really recommend the game. Skater XL might be a bit smoother, but Session has way more functions and possibilities ;)
