amazing sequel to an amazing game that somehow manages to surpass the original. Pharloom is so much more vibrant and full of life than Hallownest, and it’s packed with even more cute, silly, creepy, haunting details. much of this comes from the interactions hornet herself has with other characters—while in hollow knight you are but a voiceless, emotionless ghost who can do nothing but listen, in silksong you get to reassure, threaten, haggle, support, and slap. oh boy is it fun to slap

Excellent game. Kind of like a mash up between Ori and Hollow Knight, and if you like either of those you will certainly like Nine Sols too. The art is an absolutely stunning and seamless combination of 2d and 3d with beautiful animations and cutscenes. The aesthetic is a cute and cartoonish mashup of traditional chinese architecture and gritty post-apocalyptic sci-fi that often gets quite gruesome and gory. That may sound very contradictory and complex, but it's very compelling. The combat is based around parrying, and is fast-paced and precise, but very smooth and never cumbersome. It's certainly not an easy game on story mode, and is truly brutal on normal difficulty, but it is forgiving with minimal consequences for dying.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I feel confident in saying it's one of my favorite new indie game in the last few years.

There's nothing else like it. I'd highly recommend the game, but two main things: don't burn yourself out, and don't let fomo keep you from actually enjoying everything the game has to offer.

Amazing graphics, sound, story, and,of course, gameplay. One of my all time favorite games.

It's the best VR room escape game by far. Lots of fun.
