I don't get it, why is there a child?

My friends and I like this game, would like more costumes though.

The paid DLC was a bad choice on their part but I still love this game as well as the dev team. A lot of people give them crap because they offered up a really fun expansion for a price in a time when they need money due to a legal issues they had recently but they shouldnt be hated on so much for it. I think everyone needs to calm down a little bit because people seem to be a little harsh on the dev team. If someone is having a hard time accepting that the dev team put out a paid DLC, they need to rememebr that its not manditory to pay for it, simple as that.

I will start off with saying that it sucks that it is a paid DLC, thats not an original statement at all to say. BUT, the expansion is good. I like it a lot, it adds new elements that would not really fit in the base game and honestly, its a refreshing spin on a game that I love but have gotten a little tired of.

The way I look at it is that I really want to support the dev team and Ark in general and so I happily give them more money in the shadey cash grab. If they would have come out and say something like "Hey, after our financial probelems, we ask our community for some help and donations." people would be less upset but they took a bad approach to it. Anyway, I am rambling on. I love the base game and I really enjoy the expansion. People are sensitive here about having to pay more for something that has yet to be even finished but if you are on the fence about buying it, I would say give it a try, its a lot of fun and it adds little fox creatures.
