Excellent play and customization. Since the 2.1 update, almost all bugs present when running on debian based linux distros with proton seem to be resolved.
Update: as of 1/10/24 due to vulkan updates, it appears the game is busted on Ubuntu with Nvidia 470, 525, and 535 drivers using any combination of proton with those drivers.
Testing on windows and will update review, however, generally speaking it should be bug free by comparison to linux since its a windows native game.

Maybe CD Projekt Red and others will decide to build their games for a cross-platform capable core package with OS specific adaptability layers to eliminate the need for proton.

High quality graphics optimized well enough that even a PoS HIS-R9-280 GPU can smoothly run high settings with a few tweaked to very high for ~1080p (1600x900)
Pleasantly surprised with this game and how well its mechanics work. There are one or two things I'd change about controls or mechanics but overall this game is pretty awesome.
