Despite my (idle) hours, this software didn't help my games' performance whatsoever. In fact it actually slows down my games and sometimes lock my fps, this software also affects my ping for some reason. There are also a lot of other, free, and better fps boosters in the interweb, such as "Razer Cortex". There is also a apparently free and open source version of cpucore on github. In my opinion, you should save your money unless you really want to test it out and see if it actually helps your games' perfomance.
