Solid game if you like This War of Mine. In good ol' 2D fashion, you will scavenge for supplies in areas infested with zombies, sneaking around and methodically killing zombies. Take what you need and get out. The other half the time, you be base-building, managing your resources, and healing/caring for any sick or injured party members. I think this is a foundation of a pretty solid addition to the survival/horror/base-building genre, but there are some gripes I have with it. Specifically, you pretty much HAVE to sneak around most of the time and sneak kill the zombies or be easily overwhelmed. I wish there were more ways to outsmart, move around, go around them. Also, be prepared for your weapon to break all the time.

RE2 is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome and a lot of fun and quite possibly the best RE in the entire franchise (and I have played 1-7 except for 6).
Graphics: A Highly polished
Sound/Music: A+ Makes you want to ♥♥♥♥ your pants
Story: B Virus outbreak turns everyone into zombies/monsters
Characterization: B+ Leon and Claire can have a few dumb lines but that's typical of RE
Atmosphere: A+ Scary Fun

Capcom finally figured out what the fans wanted! Returning fans will love the franchise's return to horror. But new fans and old fans alike are going to love the terrifying atmosphere and may need to play with a fresh pair of underwear every 30 minutes in this 15-20 hour playthrough. Fluid controls and a 3rd-person over the shoulder camera are also great additions.

The graphics are damn good; the audio is even better. Heads blown off look really graphic and detailed. Directional sound is on point and it is easy to tell when Mr. X is above, below, or right around the corner.

The game is really scary at points especially when Mr. X comes for you. But, you are equipped with different guns and grenades/flashbangs/knives to protect your neck. Learning to juke and outmaneuver enemies is going to be a must. Blasting your way down a hallway is an option, but with ammo and health scarce, it is best to shoot their kneecaps and swiftly run by.

Don't worry about getting your ass handed to you since the game adjusts the difficulty as you play. Just buy it already!

I have around 50 hours already, and I absolutely love it. I seldom leave reviews but Mordhau deserves it. Despite the few shortcomings, it is an amazing game and I absolutely love it.

Pros
- Combat is what we came for, and it is absolutely 10/10 and skills-heavy. The strikes are 360 degrees and there are two directions for stabs. It goes without saying this is a mouse and keyboard game. Some mechanics are parries, feints, chambers, and morphs. There is even delaying and accelerating your weapon strikes to trick your opponent into parrying too early or too late. The learning curve is not for everyone, but damn is it satisfying to pop heads like melons with a giant mace.
- Graphics are pretty good, but definitely not the best. The game was made from a studio of around 10 people.
- Sound and Atmosphere is believable and immersive. There is a lot of mayhem happening everywhere on the map especially in Frontline mode.
- Duel servers are where you can test your 1v1 skills and it gets super mechanical in there. Prepare for some tryhard neckbeards.
- Weapons are very balanced and there are a LOT of them from maces, swords, shields, bows, and others.
- LUTE OP

Cons
- There are only 4 maps, one of which is completely favoring one team over the other.
- The game can only have 24 vs 24, not 32 vs 32 as advertised, because the servers cannot handle the enormous playerbase. I think this is acceptable for a small dev team but not for major titles *cough *cough For Honor *cough *cough Ubisoft.
- There is no modding as of now, but it will be coming soon.
- NOT optimized and a lot of players including myself have lagging or connectivity issues. Again, this could be because of how many concurrent players there are which the dev team did not expect to accomodate.

All in all, this game is definitely worth the $25-30 it costs. I have already recommended it to friends and that is the only reason I am writing this review. If you're on the fence, trust me and just get it.
