Just like Vampire Survivors was the game of the decade when it came out, Vampire Crawlers is also game of the decade.

This campaign is just... meh.
It's empty, uninteresting, and everything important to the plot has already happened and you're just following in its footsteps to watch a cutscene every now and again with no agency.

The constant use of bots in matchmaking ruins this game, as does the shoddy use of Unreal Engine where I get random frame drops no matter my configuration.

Just some mobile idle-clicker game. Probably good if you like to just click a single button hundreds of times.

This game is a tentative "yes".
Buy it on sale, unless you're happy to pay full price for a 6/6.5 out of 10.
It is NOT Bloodlines, and they should not have kept that title (there's even a post by Paradox somewhere where they admit it's not really a Bloodlines game, but they still use the name).

As for the actual review;
It's fun to zip around a square kilometre or so of Seattle. The story is okay and the characters have a nice range between them, but the various plot(s) don't really get any reveals until everything starts hitting in the 3rd act/final 3-4 hours, and then it just avalanches on you. So yeah, pacing is a problem in this game.
The 'Deluxe Edition' upgrade is just some stuff that sits in your already-cluttered haven and do nothing else. It's just paying for some small nostalgia from the first game, and that is it. Don't buy it.

It may not explain everything mechanics-wise, but it's still one of the best CRPG games in existence.

Pick this up on sale if you like the Sniper Elite franchise. This one feels a bit janky, but it's still fun... just not full-price fun.

Early Access Review
A nice twist on the Tower Defense genre, using Tetris-like blocks to create your maze and build zones.
I'm hoping that this gets more levels and upgrade trees to the weapons (each weapon only has 2 choices for upgrades and you get to pick one of them. Would love to see a second branch on each of these upgrades to choose from)

This game is not as good as "Ghost of Tsushima", but it's.... okay.
The transition between animations is so sluggish that movement feels heavy, meaning that if the game decides a certain animation is going to play, then it's going to play, regardless of whether that was the animation you wanted to happen or not (which is a constant problem).
The environments are wonderfully realised, but going "off-road" has the problem of vegetation getting in the way of the camera instead of getting culled out or made transparent.
The story seems pretty non-existent. It revolves around some box... I think? In 15 hours, it hasn't come up again. There are a plethora of bad guys, but none of them have any impact on what I've done so far, making them forgettable.

I'd suggest buying this when on sale. For a better story/experience, go play Ghost of Tsushima instead.
If you've played that game to death, then this is good for wandering around in, but not for the story... it's so forgettable that I almost refunded it, but by the time I realised that the story was bland, I'd gone over 2 hours.
