Solid 8/10, judging the game on its own, and what it offers feels like it's plenty of fun. Continuing the age-old tradition of playing DA as an end-of-the-world dating sim, it's a good addition.

There's enough to do to keep you busy without feeling like your time is being taken advantage of. The characters feel unique with their own stories that are inter-weaved into the main story. There are some obvious pain points where you can tell things were scrapped or needed to cook longer, but I personally feel like the good outweighs those moments. However, I would like to see some things that got cut added in the future.

The combat is refreshing to the series; I know it's not for everyone, but as a mage main (who won't be seeing the blood mage class return anytime soon, it seems), not playing a standing-still simulator has been a blast. The dialogue has its moments of humor and intensity, feel like everyone in the cast did an amazing job with what they were given. I wish crafting was still a thing or being able to spend resources to "craft" higher tier variants/change stats on weapons and armor. But the new system isn't the worst if you take time to fully explore maps.

Am being tag teamed by every enemy in this game, and its wonderful.

Jokes aside: micro transactions don't matter here, if you buy them, congrats you saved yourself like min worth of game play. Everything is basically given to you, or you can find early enough on that it hasn't been an issue. I haven't had any real performance issues, a slight drop in frames in the bigger city areas but nothing that has been detrimental - I am playing on a lower setting just because my system isn't at the recommend level, but with that everything looks fine and runs fine. The character creator gave me more issues than the game has.

Overall its been fun, there's some things I'd like to see added or improved, but its nothing that has really taken away from the game itself for me. Finding new Pawns has been half the joy seeing what people have made moving around in game. The combat has been enjoyable, the story isn't the best but isn't the worst thing I've ever heard, the dialogue is usually funny at just the random quips you'll hear from NPCs and the Pawns. Its def not a game for everyone, and I can see where some may not like it, so maybe wait for a sale if you're on the fence, but ultimately would say is worth the try.

Really enjoyed it, only lag I had was on the opening Respawn logo, and 2 black screen crashes while trying to fast travel. Otherwise, game ran great on max settings with ray-tracing off. Combat was fun, and the puzzles were some of those that once you figured them out was a "no duh" moment. I wasn't as impressed with the story as I was with the first one, but overall feel like it was a great sequel. Combat and movement really sold me on the games, everything felt really fluid, though there were times yelling at the screen for why Cal wouldn't latch onto something- the planets are also very photogenic and immersive. In all would say 8/10 for some minor hiccups :]
