Its a "ok play" if you get it for a few bucks from sale or are a fan of the source material.

I for one Jumped into this without knowing a single thing of expanse as it was a Telltale experience nevertheless.

The game is a lot more linear with the story and offers way less options in terms of actions or dialogue versus other titles like Wolf among us or Walking dead. This is where it fell flat for me and failed to build any kind of meaningful character development. Walking dead on the other hand did that well.

Essentially the dialogue options (these were now fewer than before as well) at times were so similar that it didnt really seem to matter what I pick. This offers next to nothing character wise, what Wolf among us succeeded in.

Havent even started to play properly yet so cant comment on the actual content, but the things to just get this game running is insane xD, even the controller inputs were messed up and e.g resolution couldnt be changed from the game itself. This apparently has been going since at least 6 years ago already with no real fix. You have to manually change gamefiles with a hex-editor to even launch it.

Devs or publishers apparently wont fix this, but instead directs users to a instruction manual some guy made online for A TEMPORARY FIX. Not like this.. Just for this, cannot recommend.

Cmon.. it is difficult but not THAT difficult. Adapt your playstyle and stop complaining.

Incredible lore and visuals, exciting new weapon types and such.

Quite high highs, but low lows as well. Honestly cannot recommend it with full price tag of 70$. Big fights can be epic, exploring is fun. Different vocations work so differently that it dictates how you experience the game.

How in the world is the game so janky though? Supposedly been in development for some time and being released in 2024 as tripleA game and STILL has some moments where I'm left to think am I really playing Skyrim still. Was expecting more and polished game tbh.

Armor and weapons (mainly armor and such) being only accessible to certain vocations is annoying, having to rest in-between running around the massive map because otherwise max health drops is annoying (you need an inn or item to do so) when you just want to progress the game.

All performance issues aside: Music cutting off, glitches, bosses clipping through walls, npcs acting out of place. Honestly most of the time npcs act like ones from ONLINE MMOS back in 2010. Cutscenes where your main character is having a dialogue, but the character has no voicelines is so out of placed. Why make him into scenarios where he is expected to speak when he cant in the first place xD

Ending of the game happens kinda suddenly where it gives no heads up, it just kinda happens. And is so confusing happening after/during credits which actually got me accidentally locked to the true ending lol. It bounces between cutscenes and gameplay and then timeloops happen and it just feels unnecessarily confusing. This supposedly has a timer on it and is not straightforward at all offering different actions to go through but you kinda dont know how much time you have in order to do them all....

Was expecting a clear goty but got something that feels confusing and not polished. Not worth the full price, but had some good moments.

Overall it's fine. Visually very appealing, there's quite a bit to do even around the main story. Sandbox type of building bases is possible (if you're into that).

I guess it's strengths were in discovering things for the first time strolling around a versatile big map and playing co-op with friends. Wouldn't necessary see myself playing this one solo. Story wasn't too long so I feel like it is worth the money especially if you can get it with discount.


Although worth mentioning that in the start it was kind of pain in the ass, because this game requires microsoft/xbox account to join your friends. And if you haven't got the whole xbox thing installed on your PC, it will require some investigating how to get it going (at least it was for us)..

Insane world building, looks amazing. Story and characters are interesting. Only downside are the occasional bugs etc.

Terrible, terrible game. Even after they fixed the launch issues (that was insane, should never even happen in the first place), all the same fking in-game problems still remain in fut that we all remember from way back. When fifa decides you lose, you lose.

CO-OP apparently has some kind of bug that some opponents abuse by forcing you to lose even if you were winning etc.

IDK what they've done to the physics engine (if anything) but no matter who you have in your team, the players sometimes forget they are footballers and just wobble around tackling each other xd :) Bought fifa again after 2015 and fairly disappointed.. not worth ~70 euros.

Your basic survival co-op thingy, exciting new updates and fairly versatile crafting system. Fun with friends.

After the story mode was done, it left OK feeling, was worth it.

Fantastic game even if it was released back in 2015. Visually looks awesome, world is very immersive. You find fun side-quests just by riding around with Roach and the game never really feels repetitive or boring.

The games strengths are in its world-building and story but I really took a liking to how your choices affect whats happening around you.

If you can look past the somewhat "janky" battle-mechanics / bugs its really a masterpiece of a game.

Edit: the new gen update really brings more out of it visually + offers couple new quests more.
