I'll never forget the first time I played this game. I remember sitting down and buying it while it was on sale. I opened it up, and started a game as the great Russia.

A few turns in and I was hooked. I didn't dare leave my computer. I shared North America with Gandhi, who was my friend for the whole game, as he surrounded Moscow and Nogrov with cities that starved faster than you thought possible.

I remember Elizabeth sailing across the clear waters to North America. We were friends for about, 10 turns. I was suddenly attacked. Not by one or two civs. The whole world. I remember trying to save myself desperately, as Gandhi took everything.

10/10, would split North America with Gandhi again.
