Yes, you're going to die to a cracked level 200 player without getting a single hit in. That is going to happen a lot. But if you're willing to learn from your mistakes and keep practising, landing that first hit feels *amazing* - and it's not like just because you can't win a 1v1, you can't contribute elsewhere.

If someone's in a 1v1, help them out by sneaking up and spearing the enemy in the back. If it's a group fight, get some stabs in and back up so you're not picked off. If the enemies are charging in, build up defensives or throw down some firebombs and stones. I may have only played for 6 hours, but I've had the time of my life even if I'm bottom scoring and my KD is dreadful.

Hell, if it's all too much, then relax with the enemy team's bard. Chances are he's in your base playing some tunes for your team.

the start of the game is about as deep as it gets. resetting and buying upgrades doesn't really speed up progression much either - you get a small amount of very basic new features and that's it

my expectations weren't all that high, but this is actually really good. It's paced really well and you can study whatever you want whenever you want if you happen to be lagging behind.

nice and simple incremental. Has an ending but also the choice for infinite progression, as well as a weekly and all-time leaderboard for some competition if you're into that.
It scales fine, nothing amazing and the gameplay is extremely simple but nowadays we're kind of in a drought for decent incrementals so this is a nice step in the right direction.

This just isn't anything. You max out the upgrades pretty quickly and then just flip the coin for hours to a minute depending on your luck. It's basically a gambling simulator minus any kind of dopamine

Pretty solid. Progression is slower than the demo which is a shame, you're expected to do quite a bit more grinding on the same level. Visibility is sometimes a problem as things begin to blend together and you're expected to dodge everything. Sure as hell not doing those no-hit achievements.
Other than that it's perfectly enjoyable.

I'd say wait for more stability updates. There are several moments where if you're playing in English, the game will lock up or send you back to the beginning and break your autosave. It can happen at the end of bossfights and you're required to replay the segment in Japanese.

once you're past a certain point you can exploit the game so hard that it freezes so hard that it tries to take your PC down with it.
