Amazing Game, just don't buy it (pirate it). None of the money goes to the original creators, rather to people who stole the company.

Even had the gal to advertise their new game on the pause and main menu for this game. No option to turn if off. Fortunately there is a mod already made (DE AdBlock on Nexus) to deal with this issue.

Great childhood game, but sadly a bad port. No one should spend an hour or two to get this game running properly. Invest that time into setting up a Dolphin emulator instead.

Ideology's recent update is what I've been waiting for ever since it came out: to be able to play with all its content and assets without actually having to set up a colony with Ideology :) now i can just start up a game and relax, similar to the initial set up we saw in 1.2 and before. TY

Yeah sure they are selling overpriced goods now and haven't updated the game in a year, but I still think its more than worth its value for $20. I recommend for the best experience to play this at night with the lights off. Few bugs here and there, but nothing gamebreaking in my 60 hours of playtime.

Lets not forget how greedy CORPORATIONS are, yet are still given a pass. Remasters are coming out making $80+ million in the first month of release, but yet we are targeting a single indie developer for years of their work. Make it make sense.

Let me preface this review with this: I torrented this game yesterday (plox no hate) and put about 5 hours into it (V. 1.020). I'm a college student on a budget, but after playing this game I was compelled to buy it to support the developers behind a great game imo.I also don't reviews very often (I think this is my 2nd or 3rd legit one), so please take a moment to see where I'm coming from:

Games like this remind me of why I love the indie scene. Some days I'm bored with the games I'm playing, so naturally I look for a new one. I came across Graveyard Keeper and saw the "Mixed" reviews (at the time), but decided to give it a try. After playing the game for a couple of minutes I began to notice the subtle details that showed this is a game with alot of polish right out of the gates. This isn't some alpha/beta game still in development, but a 90% finished project with additional content on the way (Town, Dark Body Parts, ect.). In the mornings there is this thick, white fog that surrounds the entire landscape, but if you take a closer look you can notice how the taller parts of big trees escape this fog, giving more color to the enviroment. Or how each NPC's dialouge is maintained through a series of simple recorded mouth noises, but are arranged in a way that gives the characters depth and it just feels great to talk to NPC's. It simple things like these that shows me that the developers are passoniate about the game they are making, and it's those sorts of games that transcend above your everyday games.

I can understand why this game might not be for everyone. Stamina deleption is sorta severe, there are a bunch of overarcing questslines you can get right from the beggining that may seem overwhelming, and making money in the start is challenging. But if you like a bit of challenge and want to dive into a world with a very decent amount of possibilites, then I highly recomend getting this game. All these bumbs in the road can be overcame in the game eventually, you just need to put the right amount of time and effort into finding youre own system in the game.

If you're looking for a good few hours to kill in lovely medieval life sim with a faint twist of humor and satire than this is the game you should pick up. But if you're still on the fence than give it a try like I did. Just make sure to contribute back to the developers any way you can :)

TLDR: Great game that just needs a few more polishes to be 10/10 , passoniate developers, content still coming out (doesnt seem like too much, but still important to know). If you liked Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon but also find them on the easier side in terms of difficulty than definitly pick up this game.

Rating: 9/10 , with a chance to bump to 10/10 with a tad more polish.
