Absolutely 100% worth every cent. Not only is it an "everything game" where each feature is incredibly well polished for how many there are, but the VR mode and the fact that desktop players can interact with VR players and see their actions make it the ultimate space based experience.

After supporting the original Kickstarter for the game, I can happily say I love how far it has come. Everything about Rimworld screams intelligent and precise design. It often gets compared to Dwarf Fortress, and rightfully so, but in Rimworld your colonists are not nearly as disposable. Not to mention the UI and graphics make the game far friendlier to get into. If you're looking for a colony sim, this is the #1 choice no question.

Amazing tight-knit community, constant updates, infinite possibilities. I'm never a creative type but something about this game just draws you in and makes you want to create no matter who you are. A real hidden gem of VR games.

This game has the best story of any that I've played. The sandbox mode is great but before it was even added I had about 65 hours on record from replaying multiple times. One of my all time favorites, definitly.
