Bought on launch day because Trek is my favorite franchise. Game was damn near unplayable. I waited months to see if it was patched to at least achieve mediocrity. It was not.

Lessons learned:
Don't buy on launch day.
Request refunds immediately if the game is broken. Can always buy again later if it's fixed and becomes enjoyable.

I've very much enjoyed this game so far, and do recommend it, with the warning that the last fight has a life refill that feels like a bait and switch. I will play again tomorrow, enjoy it, and eventually know the satisfaction of beating the game repeatedly, but tonight it feels like they pulled the rug out from under me, and my enjoyment of this evening has been killed.

My playtime is dramatically overexagerated because I will leave it paused most of the day in the background while I work, but this is my favorite space 4x game I've ever played. Even on a solid pc it has some late game slow down, but it's still well worth the time.

I've been a huge Axis and Allies mark since the board game originally came out, and have played at least 3 versions of the board game on PC. These controls are by far the worst. So bad I doubt I'll play it again until I see some patch notes listing improvements.
