the demo already is peak, finally something that nails the hit feedback aspect - hope the full game will be similarly fun

to keep it short and sweet;

Beautiful graphics (I've never seen water this pretty and well made even in games like Subnautica or triple A games except maybe some Minecraft shaders)

The idle mode is very useful and makes for a nice screensaver or even just something to have on while you do something else

The fishing itself is very fun although I sometimes wish there was a small icon of the types of fish that I could attract with the selected lures

I wish they add a "maybe" option for steam reviews because at this point this game is a huge "maybe"

let me explain;

gamefeel: nice with an exception; I think the disconnect between you getting the loot and the chest opening and the glimmer inside said chest disappearing is the most unsatisfying ♥♥♥♥ possible and I think it should be changed to be snappier and shorter

story: unless you like evaze, byf or reading stuff from a glorified ebook yourself you are not gonna get anything huge - sure it has its moments that are "good for destiny standards" but nothing *that* special, previous seasonal story still isn't viewable or summarized ingame and you have important plot lines happening there and in "vaulted" (basically deleted) expansions which you'll need to understand things like

why savathun is helping the Vanguard, why Nezharec is back, why Osiris is back, why Saint 14 is back, why we can't access titan, io, mars, the tangled shore or mercury anymore, why rasputin is gone, why Uldren is back as Crow and the why and how of him getting his memory back, Zavala's Wife, who Caiatl and Misraaks are and why they both work with the Vanguard and many more

Why does the community have to do what Bungie could do themselves very easily?

I can't say if I like or hate the episodic style yet but one thing I didn't like was having the catalyst for Red Death be locked behind the ~6 week timegate that was Act 1 of episode Echoes

Final Shape is a decent expansion, similar to how Forsaken ***used*** to be before they removed half of the content in there.

If they can keep the momentum going for 1-2 years at least and create a "light and dark saga bundle" so you can get into the game easier I think it would be a solid recommend

but for now it's cautious optimism and a big

guns feel nice to shoot, interesting stealth, nicely designed maps and cheesy voice acting
