I played about 2 hours of this on Game Pass and immediately decided I had to own it.

It was the right choice, this is probably now my favourite game of all time. I can’t say a bad word about it. The soundtrack, the quality of the writing, graphics, gameplay. This has it all. If you’re looking for reasons to wait - don’t. Support this team with everything you have.

EDIT: Still deserves GOTY

Early Access Review
Not sure why I'd expect any less from Supergiant; this game is incredibly feature-complete, with more content in early access than you might expect from a 'triple a' game at this stage.
As usual, an incredible game that I can't wait to get a full release.

I've been a Dark Magician player for basically my whole life and this game forced me to be a meta slave and run Kashtira and now all my opponents surrender the moment they see Fenrir.

10/10

One of the best games I've ever played. I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed playing a game this much.

The Game of the Decade on PC. How could this possibly be anything else?
Runs beautifully. My biggest issue with GoW on PS4 was the fact it was 30fps.
Playing this game on ultra at well over 60 is amazing.
Can't recommend it enough, they could have released this at £60 and I'd have bought it. At £40 it's a steal.

One of the few instances where saying 'more of the same' is the highest compliment you could give it.

Early Access Review
I refuse to believe this is early access because, as other reviews have said, this is incredibly well made, fully fleshed out with excellent gameplay and mechanics, with a great soundtrack, art style and more -- It's a Supergiant game, what more can I say?

To say I'm excited to see how this game changes and gets even better through updates till a full release is a HUGE understatement.

I've been looking forward to this game for a relatively long time, but was slightly worried after the launch of Dishonored 2 that it might be plagued with the same day one issues. Thankfully, I have had no problems so far, most likely because the game runs on the much more rigorously field-tested Cryengine as opposed to Void, which is what I was expecting it to be developed on.
I've only played a short amount of time, but the story is being told fantasically, with the tiniest bits of information being leaked at a time, encouraging you to read more of the ingame lore, and making you suspicious of everything and everyone (oh, the suspicion is helped by the fact that the things that can kill you can also turn into perfectly ordinary objects, but that's besides the point.)
Gameplay is great, maybe a little too bloated in terms of abilities; I feel pretty overwhelmed and never know what to spend my neuromods on, but other than that it's totally solid - Irrational may be dead but this is definitely a spiritual successor to their Shock games and for that I love it.
No FOV option or option to turn off motion blur, but as many have said that can be changed in config so not much of an issue.

Right now I give it an 8.5/10, possibly more as the story progresses. Really really enjoying it, would recommend picking up.

Thought nothing could ever top Skyrim as my favourite game of all time.
I was wrong.
I am now going to play the other Witcher games, read the novels and I'm already in the Gwent beta.
This game will become an indelible part of your life, I swear it.
