Don't Shoot

Excellent rogue-lite with excellent beat 'em gameplay. Will happily buy DLCs

DD1 is one of my favorite games ever. I'll admit that it took me a while to give the sequel a chance. I wasn't thrilled with the changes when I first learned how much of a departure this was to DD1, so it fell off my radar for a while. I finally decided to give DD2 a chance since I've been on a rogue-like kick lately, and after some hours with it, I've come around to really enjoying it. I love a good rogue-like, and DD2 is a very good rogue-like.

I can understand why people are still put off by the changes, but I still think this game deserves a chance if you are a rogue-like enjoyer. DD1 still serves as that 'XCOM-like' that I can go back to whenever I have that itch. DD2 scratches a different kind of itch, and that's okay.

Pure chaotic fun with friends.

Art/design is fantastic. Combat is solid. Very fun in co-op. Not sure what end game looks like but enjoying the ride so far.

If you like raising boners, this game is for you

Really fun poker themed rogue-like. It's chill to play and a little addicting.

Tons of content. Enjoyable solo, but really shines while playing with a group of friends.

One of the best strategy games available.

The DLC policy is blown out of proportion by people screaming bloody murder. They've released many free races, and ALL DLC will be compatible with the sequel. To me, that's good value.
