You'd think shooting people on the same maps with pretty much the same weapons would be boring. Thing is, every round is a game in itself, if you understand the way CS:GO works. Now, with the new private ranking system, you've gotta play some casual modes to get to play the "real" game, but this should be ok since it's getting rid of smurf and cheaters. Wait a bit and you'll be rewarded.
Edit: As of late 2016, cheater have been, for the most part, dealt with, as Prime Matchmaking has separated people with phone-secured accounts from the plebs. More aesthetic upgrades and additions too, but players need increasingly better computers. Guess it's not surprising, time passes, right?
