THE GOOD:
-Competent installment worthy of the acclaimed series.
-Easy entry point into the series with nods to previous games.
-Detailed HD 2D backgrounds,
- Streamlined and modern UI/hint system.
-Flawless voice acting/sharp funny script.
-Puzzles arn't overly obtuse.
-Interesting murder-mystery plot which deepens into a larger conspiracy.

THE BAD
-Slowish pacing.
-Some tacked-on puzzle segments that stretch credibility.
-Puzzles generally well-integrated but not particularly inspired.
-Character animations are rather limited.
