The zombies mode is fun, but nightmare 4 has a bug that they refuse to address where you can get permanently stunlocked by scarlet witch and cannot respawn.

Miles better than 6. Honestly it's not even a contest.

I wanted to love this game. Loved the original. Played it for many, many hours, and was excited when they announced the sequel, but maaaaaan did they drop the ball.

I hate the changes overall. The changes made to "reduce grind" the changes to auto resolve, to villages, etc. It just isn't good.

This is one of those situations where I wish I had tried the demo first. Back to Thea 1 I guess.

Despite having a single player mode, which I enjoyed, the game's servers have been shut down, and we are no longer able to play this mode.

This is one of the problems with these always online games.

At the very least they should be modified so you can still play the thing you bought.

I did not expect to like this game.

I ended up getting this in a humble bundle. Mostly because I wanted another game in the bundle.

FInally ended up playing it on my steam link.

Instantly hooked. The game is fantastic. Good mechanics, good characters, great gameplay. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.

If I had one critique, it would probably be a bigger house and a bit more land.

Additionally you have to keep buying seasons, and they are planning to remove huge sections of the game. It isn't worth it anymore. I suggest going to warframe honestly.

First, let me start off with this is a fun game, or rather it was.

The current plans to sunset gear though mean I absolutely cannot recommend this game in any way shape or form. Basically they plan to retire gear each season, essentially making it obsolete. If you're into a short term gear grind with massive effort for very little reward, you're in the right place. Chasing gear drops and perfect rolls really doesn't have any appeal when things will just be rolled out next season. Hopefully they don't implement this terrible decision that a large portion of the player base is very angry at currently.

We'll see. They probably will go ahead with it anyways.

Overall very fun. Just like the first two.


Difficulty levels could use some severe tuning though. The hardest just isn't fun. Spawn on a bad map, or in a bad place, don't even bother. Also don't bother trying if you aren't already starting from a different map. Those seem problematic. Easy was a bit too easy, normal was okay, more like I'd expect easy to be, etc.

In any case, honestly one of the better games I've played. The balancing there is really one of my only gripes.

Really an overall excellent game for a short session. It isn't a groundbreaking game, but it's a fun few hour romp that you can come back to again and again, and at a sale price I can't recommend it enough.

You will need a decent sized music library though.
