What a lovely little deduction game. I hope to see more games of this ilk from the devs in the future, this really scratched the itch to solve a mystery.

Saw all the negative reviews a few days after launch, saw that it was only 18gbs, figured what the hell, and downloaded it with my wife and a friend. This game is fire, it's actually so much more fun than I was expecting, I was ready to go in mocking this and instead I'm invested.

Haven't played whole game yet. HLD is my favorite game of all time. Solar Ash seems to be on track to dethrone it. Game is excellent from all I've experienced. The one issue I have however is the performance. I have a pretty beefy system, and the framerate was chugging really hard for what is a beautiful but not particularly high poly game. I know it's been out for a while now, so I might be crying into the void (how thematic for this game), but as of writing, a few bosses in, the only complaint I have that's truly taking away from the experience of the game is the framerate, and it would be really cool if it was possible to fix that.

A really awesome Modern-Warfare style game with great bot support. Well worth the money normally and dirt-cheap on sale, good buy.

Getting into some more detail;

This game is really awesome, and well worth the money. Though, I do think there are some things that could make it even better. I think the biggest thing that this game is lacking right now is a bit of a small map pool and not much progression. Now, to be clear, the amount of maps isn't bad at all! But, you get to learn all of them very quickly, and a some of them are rather samey looking (Though that's not to say all of them are; Area 314 is easily my favorite themed and looking map). I don't know how the game works on the back end, so this might not be possible, but if it were possible to add workshop support for things like custom maps and such, that would be really awesome.

I think some form of prestiege system would be really cool too, as you max out your level fairly quickly, and it would be cool if you could keep on leveling up forever.

But truly, this game is well worth the money.

A LOT of people dislike this DLC because of the final boss. My thoughts are that it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AWESOME.
Between this and the Ancient Gods Part 1, I enjoyed this DLC more. The Hammer is an amazing addition in my opinion, and I think that they really built on everything the base game and first DLC added to the game, and really made you use all the tools that were available. I loved the levels, they were some of my favorite out of all the levels in the game plus other DLC, and I would like to spare a moment to actually discuss the final boss.
He basically plays like a mega strong Marauder. That sentence probably either made you mega hyped, or mega disappointed. A lot of people don't like the Marauder, but I love him. Whenever he spawns, the dynamic of the battle changes, and it keeps things fresh and engaging, while not being too difficult. The way the final boss played felt fitting, as if I was fighting a worthy opponent, someone with the same speed and strength as the Slayer.
I also really enjoyed the story and the way it was wrapped up (Though it did end similarly abruptly to the first DLC and base game), and overall, this might be peak Doom to me. Everything works together in unison, and it is a beautiful experience. I can understand if you don't have good feelings for this DLC, but I personally LOVED it.
