worth the cost just to have full body map sprites instead of just floating heads i could never have dreamed of this technology

super solid puzzler, sidesteps one of my most common gripes with the genre by telegraphing, with some thought, what dog is going to score the goal and letting one work backwards from there to iteratively build a solution. it's much more solid than even railbound, which i also liked. these folks just keep improving game on game

slim, trim, and fast. controls like a dream, plays with mobility in a way that no other trpg really has before it. i've found it to be nothing but fantastic all throughout

probably not the deepest game you've ever played but if you just wanna shoot some pool this is absolutely a $10 game wearing a $5 pricetag. definitely worth the money

it's no worldbeater, but for what it is - a charming, vibes-forward autorunner - it's got just enough depth to earn its keep as a pure game, and the cause it was made in support of is absolutely deserving of a pretty-good game to raise awareness.

really wish i could be positive about this one. literally undermines the handoff done in yak7, and on top of that presents a convoluted and somehow plodding story, despite only being fifteen-ish hours long. the final chapter is genuinely one of the stupidest things rgg have pulled, including yakuza 2's ending, in their entire run. pick it up, if you must, to fill the gap to yak8.
