Having played the original game, back in the days, this came out unexpected but generated a lot of hype.
After playing through all episodes, I can fairly say that it exceeded all expectations: the "remastered" assets and gameplay just enhance the original experience without "masking" it or simplifying it too much to be more friendly to modern times.
Episode 4 is a little gem, pushing the engine to its boundaries, adding lots of easter eggs and even restoring unused assets from the original game, adding so many new features and mechanics that it could almost be a game on its own.

If you're thinking about getting it but don't know if it's worth the price... go on, grab it and you won't regret it.
