Go home with decent pay, family is happy
Next day all people are allowed, as long as they have proper documentation
Guy walks up to desk
It's the guy from yesterday

Take on look and see it's obviously homemade
"Sir, this is fake."
"No no, it ok."
Have to get him on something else
Skim passport to see that it was issued in a city that doesn't exist.
"Sir, this city doesn't exist"
"Ok ok, i get real passport next time."

Nearing end of shift when a man jumps the border an flings a grenade into the gaurd, is promptly shot
Too late
Grenade explodes killing the gaurd and scattering visitors
"Oh yeah, forgot to mention that this happens on a regular basis"
Great
Have to cut heating bill to make ends meet
Family is cold and my son is sick
Next day
"All foreigners need a visitor's pass."
"Also, security has been ramped up"
Get to check-point
Six security gaurds
S*** just got real
Man walks up

It's the man from yesterday
this time he has a valid passport
But unfortunately he does not have a Visitor's Pass
Actually starting to like this guy
"Sorry bud you need a Visitor's Pass."
"You run strict border, that good, it mean you do your job."
Send him away for the third time
Day wares on
Approached by a woman who slips me a bussiness card
It's for a strip club

Not enough to make ends meet, family is hungry, cold, and critically ill.
Next few days go by
Approached by the same man every day, always something in correct with his paperwork, it's a shame because i really like him
He brings a sense of light to my otherwise bleak and boring day
Family's condition is slowy declining
Mother-in-Law dies first, suspiciously, she died of food poison

My friend approaches me again
This time with the proper paper work

As i watch him go, a man runs over the border shoving guards out of his way
He shouts "FOR REPUBLICA!" as he lobs a grenade
It lands right next to my friend
It's to late to warn him
I watch in sheer horror as the grenade explodes and he is blown to smitherines
My family succombs to illness and i am fired
such is life in Arstotzka


This is a great game, would highly reccomend to anyone 10/10
