I honestly have no idea what ASL does in GBO2. I assumed it let me aim quicker, like a faster way to align the aiming sight accurately, nor have I played Armored Core games enough to know about FCS ( at most I've recorded them as intro & gameplay, with the exception of Silent Raven for PSP that I bought and hated, or Formula Front where I made a Guntank for the AI to play for me, I know very little of AC at present time ), but traditional reticles and lock-on yeah that sounds good!
20 vs AI sounds properly amazing, like attacking Freedom City amazing.
FMO was 20 player lobbies, and you can either do 20 players against a bunch of enemy AI, or 10v10 PvP. Getting a full lobby was the best ever.
I personally think MWO is the worst possible game ever created, and I still never stop slandering the PIG publicly.
Well there's always MWO, 12v12 battles and it's certainly a crescendo if one will like or dislike a battle. But unlike GBO2, one doesn't get stuck in a Hamster-wheel in MWO at least. GBO2 has so many issues stopping it from being a better game to the point I wonder to myself when I'll stop playing it.
There's no other good 6v6 team-based mech game with respawns with the same depth and variety as GBO2. Hawken did exist and was revived, but it doesn't have nearly as much depth and variety.
Neat! I never got to play FMO because by the time I learned of it, it was already dead! I'm sure SDGO has but it's something about it that just feels very pointless to play on a private server. It's like, I can consider Exteel because it was over a decade since I last played it, but in the far future when GBO2 dies I'm not going to shed any tears and find a private server of it. While I miss SDGO, it's kinda in the same spot for me. Not worth a whole lot to play on private server for.
Well, maybe just to ride the Val Varo again or do all the insanely brutal co-op missions..
Thanks for the Front Mission Online thing, but I've already seen this. I miss it dearly too. IIRC, SDGO also have a private server.
Question that instantly arises is: Why were you banned?
But a little thing I wanted to tell without posting in the thread, a person has been working on getting Front Mission Online working and he's had minor success in that endeavour. Now wouldn't that be neat to play?
