I can no longer recommend this game as they unlock past expeditions for a very limited time only to lock them again. Just unlock all the expeditions.

You're not the hero. The heroes came through and did their whole action/horror/sci-fi thing before you got there. Nobody ever thinks of the people that have to clean up the mess AFTER the whatever movie-worthy thing happened here before. You're the janitor. You have to clean up the mess left behind.

This game is frustrating as you're always filling buckets and carts with mess and disposing of them accordingly. There are a LOT of back and fourth trips from bucket and cart generators and furnaces. Failing to do this perfectly results in spills and accidental contamination of previously cleaned areas.

This game is satisfying as you turn a scene from horror nightmare fuel into a relatively nice place.

However it's not without it's faults.
Sometimes a glitch in the collision detection will cause your bucket of body parts to spew out everywhere creating bloodstains all over your newly cleaned surfaces.

Sometimes the furnace will randomly eject disposables all over the floor.

Then, at no fault of the game, your teammates will accidentally blow things up sending intestines and blood all over your newly cleaned room.

9/10, will mop intestines off the ceiling again.

It's OK I guess.

I joined a community, helped build an empire based on smuggling and espionage, and learned that you can actually play video games 18 hours a day every day.

While fun, if you can't afford to drop thousands of dollars on upgrades, you can only advance by making friends and putting the time in to rise through the ranks of guilds. I found someone to start a guild with and we accumulated about 55 members. The Pandemic slowed down and they asked us to start working again, so my EVE days ended.

This game is 100% Party-In-A-Box.
Fast food has more substance. Porn has more depth. It's not a game that requires any special skill or presents you with any real role-playing elements.

What this game is:
Beautiful, constant explosions, more over-the-top action than a 90's action movie, plenty of guns, lots of ammo, lots of wild means to create chaos, wild unearthly items, and lots of vehicular mayhem.

Do you want to launch a tank through the air to attack an oil refinery? Check
Do you want to summon lightning from the sky to blow up a power plant? Check
Are you getting bored with fighting your enemies and just want to attach them to a nuclear missile instead? Check

While it is kind of lackluster without the expansions, if you get the expansions with it, it becomes what it was meant to be. It's not a game you walk away from reflecting on the story or characters. It is a game you walk away from looking out while civilization burns behind you saying "That was fun."

8/10 - Will blow up everything again.
I'd say 10, but there are some weird and sometimes game-breaking graphical glitches to be had every now and then.
