Never thought I'd see the day where I'd recommend fallout 76, but here we are.

Let me start by saying that I'm a huge fallout fan. Fallout 1, 2 and new vegas are amazing. Three's...ok and no matter how much I tried I could never get into fallout 4.

So you can imagine my surprise when I picked up 76 (for 4 bucks on winter sale) and... I got hooked.

I have no idea how the game was at launch (other than reviews) so I can't really say how much/if it improved since then.

There are problems, don't get me wrong.

Since it runs on a server, there are slight delays and performance issues here and there, and fallout 1st is... shameless at best, and I will never buy it.

But despite all the problems and the usual Bethesda jank, it's fun to manage food/drink levels when you can't just haul the whole map worth of stuff with you and fast travel cost caps.

Also seeing other players occasionally running around and building amazing structures in the world makes it seem a bit more alive.

Good game, very rocket league-y.
Fix the servers and optimize the game.

No FOMO, no pressure to play just to keep up with everyone else...
I’ve tried some “private projects” in the past that tried to simulate a single-player MMO to varying degrees of success, but there’s an obvious difference between something hacked together as an afterthought and something built with that in mind from the ground up.

One of the best ARPGs I've played. Very casual friendly

Honestly I just bought it so that I don't have to run it in a resource hungry browser.

If you're not rushing B, you're not playing it right

Interesting experience.
Not sure if it's touching or it just hits too close to home for me, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone, since it takes about 30 minutes to finish.
